MAY 09	Trojans begin summer training The Valley Trojans, members of the Labelle Community Football League West, have begun summer camp. Camp will continue every Saturday from now until July 10th. Every summer training session is open to all players that are not yet commited to another LCFL team. It is not too late to join the Trojan Family! Mar 21	Trojans hire Baker as Defensive Coordinator (North Hollywood, Ca)-The Valley Trojans have hired former Rialto Eisenhower coach, Steve Baker, to lead the Trojan defense in 2010. Coach Baker had this to say, " I have watched previous years film of the Trojan defense and the biggest thing that stands out to me is the individual talent at each position. The Trojan ddefense has always been aggressive and will continue to be in my scheme. The biggest difference is that I will put these playmakers in position to make plays". He also went on say, "I am really looking forward to this season and I'm eager to do all I can for this program". Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator Jeff Hernandez added, "We are excited to have Coach Baker on board. Our defense has always been full of talent and I cant wait to see our talent in Bakers scheme." Trojan fans will get their first opportunity to see the 2010 Trojans in action as they battle the So Cal Eagles in pre-season play on July 17th. Details coming soon. Fight on!
Sep 26	Comeback Trojans come out on top 35 to 28 The much improved Maddogs took a 28 to 14 lead in the 3rd quarter, but it wasnt enough to stop the Trojans. Trojan QB Jason Smith connected on two touchdowns with wide receivers Anthony Celestine and Steve Haas. His touchdown with Haas going for a Trojan record 99 yards. In the 4th quarter the Trojans finished the Maddogs off with QB Rashad Williams quick feet in the Trojan version of the wildcat offense, and a 64 yard punt return for a touchdown by Anthony Celestine with under a minute left. Great game maddogs! Good luck the rest of the season! Fight on!
Sep 23	The Trojans take on Division rival the Santa Clarita Maddogs this weekend Saturday September 26 at 2pm. This game is of great importance to the Trojans, as a win will bring them closer to once again being crowned Division Champions. Come cheer on your favorite Trojan, and enjoy a day of hard hitting football! Game is being held at Ribet Academy, doors will open at Noon to all fans. Fight on!
Sep 16	The Valley Trojans prepare to take their game on the road once again this Saturday September 19th, when they play the Long Beach Lions at Vista Verde Middle Schoool in sunny, hot, Moreno Valley!! Game time is at 1:00pm - Come and watch what will potentially be the best game of the 2009 season!! Fight on!
Sep 06	After a hard fought battle agains the South Bay Skulls, The victory (21-10) placed the Valley Trojans at 3-1 and on top of their division. We will travel to San Luis Obispo on Saturday for what is turning out to be one of the most important games for us so far. This game will be played at Pennington Field, kickoff is at 2:30pm, bring a lawn chair and come cheer for your favorite LCFL team. Fight on!
Aug 29	The Valley Trojans will once again take the field as we face the California Longhorns on August 29th for the battle of the valley, this game will be played at Ribet Academy, kickoff is at 2pm and doors will open at 1pm. Fight on!
AUG 06	Come Join the Valley Trojans as we begin regular season play for the 2009 LCFL Championship on August 16th when we face off against the Tri-City Titans. This game will be played at Mira Costa High, kickoff is at 3pm and doors will open at 1pm. Fight on!

jul 13	The Trojans will once again come together for practice on Saturday July 18th - 9:30am at Ribet Academy. We would also like to invite EVERYONE to join us at Rocky's On The Strip for dinner and Karaoke with the Trojan players. Come join us, Bring your appetite and grab the mic with your favorite Trojan! June 21	We will be coming together again for practice this Saturday June 27th - The gate will be opened at 9:00am, and we are planning on taking the field at 9:30am. Those players who have contacted our staff and are interested in joining our extended family are urged to show up, as our roster will be closing soon and you don't want to get left behind. June 16	DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A CHAMPION?? The Trojans will be hosting the 1st annual Madden Tournament on Saturday June 20th following our regular practice... See flyer for specific information, or call any staff member if you have any questions - EVERYONE IS INVITED!! Fight on!
June 10	The Trojans will once again be having an OTA/BBQ at our favorite local beach this Saturday June 13th; workouts will begin at 10am, followed by fun and food like last time! May 12	We are proud to announce our association with the East Valley Trojan Pop Warner Organization. We are looking forward to hosting training camps, organizing community activities, and volunteering as much time as needed to help the East Valley Trojans in their quest to becoming one of the premier pop warner organizations in Los Angeles. Our first event will be a mini camp organized exclusively for the East Valley Trojans, followed by events geared towards getting all the other Pop Warner Organization involved in getting kids off the streets and on to the gridiron. Please join us in welcoming the East Valley Trojans to our extended family. Detailed information will be posted soon, come and make a difference along side your favorite players and coaches!
Apr 14	The Valley Trojans would like to welcome the newest member of our family - Dr. Darrick E. Sahara!! Dr. Sahara has worked with many professional athletes. His experience includes being an associate with Dr. Evan Mladenoff, who is the head alternative team physician for the Kansas City Chiefs. Dr. Sahara has worked with many professional athletes from the NFL, MLB, and NHL. He also has worked with the top ice skaters in the Midwest / Kansas City area. In addition, Dr. Sahara is now proud to state that he is one of the 'doctors to the stars.' His patients include rock music mogul / producer Dan Lanois and Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional. He is currently a member of The Global Directory of Who's Who - we are truly honored to name him the Official Chiropractor of The 2009 Valley Trojans!!
Mar 04	VALLEY TROJANS ON THE MOVE Here is a quick recap on the advancement of some of your favorite Valley Trojans players: Robert Harris/ Cornerback/ Wide Receiver/ Kick Returner 5'10/ 190lbs University of Charleston Robert will be playing this summer with the Lubeck Cougars in Germany. The Cougars will use Robert's talents as a Cornerback, Wide Receiver, and Kick/ Punt Returner. Robert led the Labelle Community Football League West (LCFL West) in 2008 with 7 interceptions for 225 yards and 3 TD's as a member of the Valley Trojans. He was a member of the 08 LCFL West All Star Team and was nominated by the league as the special teams MVP, this was his second All Star appearance. In September Robert will return to lead a very talented Trojan squad on their quest for a championship. ______ Anthony Celestine/ Wide Receiver 5'10/ 180lbs Colorado State University Anthony is in camp with the Colorado Ice of the Indoor Football League (IFL). The Colorado Crush of the Arena Football League (AFL) had invited Anthony to camp, but the league went on hiatus for the 09 season. Anthony is re-joining many of his Colorado State teammates now playing with the Ice. Anthony finished the 08 season as the leading receiver for the Valley Trojans of the Labelle Community Football League West (LCFL West) and was named to the All Star team for his second year in a row. In 09' Anthony will return to lead a very talented Wide Receiver group for the Valley Trojans. The Trojans passing offense finished Top 5 in the league in 08' and look to be more explosive in 09'. ______ Nick Skophammer/ Defensive End 6'4/ 240lbs Antelope Valley College Nick has been invited to a tryout with the Central Valley Coyotes of the Arena Football League 2 (AFL2). In 08' Nick was a monster at the Defensive End position for the Valley Trojans of the Labelle Community Football League West (LCFL West). Nick led the Trojans with 12 sacks in regular season games. In the pre-season, Nick finished one game with 6 sacks. Nick will return to anchor the Valley Trojan defensive line in 09". Fight On!!
